ABOUT

Mark Gross & Associates, Inc. (MGA) is an architectural firm specializing in land planning and the design of residential and commercial buildings throughout California. Our distinctive collaborative practice coupled with an innovative approach to design has produced an award winning residential portfolio that includes single-family, custom, affordable, and mixed use/multi-family projects.

The firm is assembled of a diverse team of individuals with varying strengths and interests. This combination makes for a unique office environment. Our penchant for working in close cooperation with all clients and associated consultants to best respond to the needs of a specific project has created a formula that channels clients back to MGA throughout the years.

Our diverse scope of work demands from us a flexible progressive practice, a practice dedicated to high quality design, client support and current technology to ensure the success of our clients and projects.

LEADERSHIP TEAM

Mark Gross - Architect

As President, Mark Gross brings over thirty years of experience in residential design and land planning, his experience is the foundation on which MGA is built. Mark received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Architecture from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and is a California State Licensed Architect. He is a member of BIA, 50+ Housing Council, and the American Institute of Architects. Mindful of current trends and the needs and desires of his clients, Mark is involved in every phase from concept to completion, his expertise and creative spirit is imprinted on each project.

Doug McBeth - Senior Designer

Doug has been in the architectural field since 1984. After earning his AA degree in Architecture, Doug has worked in many aspects from drafting to design. His experience is in light commercial and residential design focusing on semi-custom, custom, single family & multi-family projects. Doug is a current Associate member of the Orange County chapter of the AIA.

Ron Stubblefield - Project Manager

Ron started working with L.C. Major and Associates in 1974 and remained with Mark Gross after taking over in 2000.  He attended the Southern California Institute of Architecture for 3 years.  Ron’s experience in the field of Architecture covers single family, multi family, semi custom and custom home projects throughout the states of California, Arizona, Nevada, Washington and Colorado.

Kevin Sadamitsu - Project Manager

Kevin is a Project Manager who has worked in the field of Architecture for the last 28 years. Kevin has a strong background in single-family tract and custom homes. For the past 7 years, he has been building a solid foundation with small lot sub-divisions and multi-family housing. In addition to his Architectural duties, for the last 18 years, Kevin has managed the office IT computer building and maintenance, software installation and configuration as well as network management. Kevin graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a BA in Environmental Design and from Fullerton Community College with an AA in Architecture.

Brian Wilkinson - Project Manager

Brian studied architectural drafting at the Phoenix Institute of Technology where he graduated & has 32 years experience working in the field of architecture. He has contributed his knowledge & experience to single family, multifamily, semi-custom & custom home developments throughout California, Utah, Nevada & Arizona.

Karoline Sadamitsu - Color Specialist

Karoline is a Color Specialist in the Design Department and has over 11 years in the Architectural field. Karoline earned her BA in Graphic Design from California State University Fullerton. She specializes in color selections and colored renderings for single family, multi family, custom and semi custom homes.
